Meet The Team

Lucid is the brainchild of the Jakobsen sisters. Working in collaboration with many other talented people, they have turned Lucid into one of the most anticipated events in Europe.

Katarina started out as a dancer, and became fascinated by experimental art, especially light art, as she became more involved in stage design. Lucid brings together her research and experience in the performing arts, and unites the most cutting edge artists this world has to offer.
Alva Jakobsen <br> Co-Founder

Co-Founder

Alva spent over ten years working at international galleries and art fairs, before returning to her hometown in Oslo where she became determined to foster the art community there. At Lucid, she works behind the scenes to ensure the show is always running smoothly.

Programme Director

Ted is an art theorist known for his collaborations with photographers to create beautiful archival books. He brings his expertise and curatorial eye to Lucid, delivering an engaging and thought provoking programme every year.
